They had their check-up at the doctor this morning and all looks great thank goodness. We are definitely very blessed. I have been awful at keeping up with their monthly stats (their baby book ended at 12 months) so I figured it is about time for an update (more for my sake as a reference than for anyone else :) So here goes...
Landon
- 30 lbs 4 oz (big boy!)
- 35 inches (almost 3 feet tall!)
- 13 inch thighs (you can thank their dad for that statistic)
- Has all of his teeth except for his back molars
- Lots of shiny brown hair that parts perfectly
- Wearing a size 7/8 in shoes
- Wearing 2T clothes
- Size 6 diapers
- Not sleeping through the night (well, he did once in the past few weeks)
- Can say a few words including cool, dadda, momma, ha, and tree, and babbles like crazy
- Knows most of his body parts and can point to them, including his nose, ears, belly and eyes
- Drinks from a straw and prefers that to using a sippy cup
- Starting to feed himself with utensils
- Typically likes mac&cheese, chicken nuggets, yogurt, smoothies and animal crackers
- Waves bye and gives high 5's
- Can reach almost anything on the kitchen counter and dining room table
- Loves to read and can point out/identify objects in books
- Favorite show is Sid the Science Kid
- Very clingy and loves to give hugs
Ben
- 25 lbs
- 34 inches (almost 3 feet as well!)
- Has at least 9 teeth and maybe another that I haven't noticed yet
- Lots of shiny blond hair that has a little bit of curl in the back and is all frizzy and soft when he gets up in the morning
- Wearing a size 7 shoe
- Wearing 18/24 month clothes
- Size 5 diapers
- Not sleeping through the night (well, he did once in the past few weeks)
- Can say baby, yeah, dadda, momma, and babbles quite a bit
- Knows most of his body parts and can point to them, including his nose, ears, belly and eyes
- Knows to shake his head if he doesn't want something
- Taps our leg if he wants something
- Drinks from a straw and prefers that to using a sippy cup
- Starting to feed himself with utensils
- Typically likes mac&cheese, chicken nuggets, yogurt, smoothies and animal crackers
- Waves bye and gives high 5's
- Has the cutest, skinniest legs
- Likes to play in his crib
- Likes to read
- LOVES to watch TV and especially loves theme songs (That 70's Show and Family Guy in particular)
- Loves music and dances in circles and/or nods his head to the beat
- Gives really great kisses

I can't believe how big they've grown...time is flying! Auntie can't wait to see them at Christmas!
